@谈云识天气 agree with you that we need healthy and constructive criticism rather personal attack. We are not politicians, but volunteers who care about our children's future and our people's interests / concerns. We should encourage and empower activism and civic engagements so that we can be sitting at the table not be put on the Menu.....
I think that we could use these combative energy to help Lindy's campaign. We could discuss how we can help one of our children who is bravely fighting in politics.
@管昕 Your analyses of my tactics are always very astute.You surprised me when you did it the first time. My schooling in China didn't teach me any skills on this front. I learned slowly in States by observing how Americans "fight" in the corporate world and the political world. I actually help win such a "fight" at a senior executives meeting last Friday. I'm in flow this weekend.

@谈云识天气 我想可能是我们有共同的在美国企业混得经历有关吧。这边的文化和国内很不同,没办法,只好抱着学习的态度来面对。美国公司高层的政治斗争,和这里的辩论很类似,都是触及根本利益,“你死我活”,但是又留有余地,保持风度。所以辩论方法很重要。我也有切身体会,win a fight and gain a higher senior management position. 加入这个群我也是要向诸位高人学习的
