@赵宇空 “@Lantong I see Asian Americans suffer from racial stereotypes ....and We do not need favorable treatment, but fair treatment."------说来说去,吵翻天了,不就是要这句话嘛,这句明白了,其它都可以省略了。剩下再多的强词夺理都不过是冠冕堂皇罢了,因为哪个族裔都有经济上弱势需要照顾的,不单是某一、两个族裔。要一个公平的、一视同仁的待遇,何罪之有?
@Wen Raiti “It is not about the number. It is about our dignity and pride. Why is our children's hard work penalized? It is not about AA, but about our equal rights in education. ”---说的好!要不你翻成中文再铿锵有力地发一遍,否则这里有人可能不看的
Once upon the time, there was this relative new species called Chinese Republican. They claim that they are eager to participate in the democratic politics in their adopted country. Yet, once their ideas are criticized on the ground of substance, their actual reactions say they are not used to or comfortable with it. There is one 打官腔 demanding 团结、向组织提建设性意见。There is an old fashion one demanding 正风气。There is also a low class one proposing 黑了 the dissenting voice. Guys, being criticized could be uncomfortable, even frustrating at times. Just ask Hillary or Jeb. But this is HOW democracy feels like. If you don't like it, there is nobody stopping you from going back to where you come from and 做“和谐社会”的警察。
