他表示，社交距離將成為我們日常的習慣，一直到疫苗研發出來以後，才會紓緩。他認為冠狀病毒是很難對付的流行病，而且已經存在我們的環境中，所以必須維持社交距離，才能保護自已。
根據國家過敏及感染疾病中心主任Dr. Anthony Fauci指出，冠狀病毒疫苗至少要一年至一年半時間才能問市。
據佛州緊急管理部部長 Jared Moskowitz星期一(13日)表示，佛州冠狀病毒疫情的預期峰值可能會推遲到4月24日至26日。他在新聞發佈會上強調，他們將會繼續留意疫情走向，並做好相應的準備。
