"JAKE TAPPER, CNN: Donald Trump reminds us that some of these "Obama-is-a-Muslim" rumors were started by people who were supporting or working for Hillary Clinton in 2008.
DANA BASH, CNN: That's right. The Clinton campaign back then always adamantly denied that was true. But there were stories citing Clinton researchers or associates back then saying President Obama or then Barack Obama was a Muslim, even that he went to a Muslim school when he was a kid living in Indonesia. "
"Barack Obama's campaign team today accused Hillary Clinton's beleaguered staff of mounting a desperate dirty tricks operation by circulating a picture of him in African dress, feeding into false claims on US websites that he is a Muslim."
As part of my community service and also for good measure, let me repost the following: " 把AA简单理解为解决落后社区教育问题的手段,这是不全面的。
不管是public sector or private sector, Asians are underrepresented at the top rungs of the career ladder. What caused this? I don't have an answer. But if it's discrimination, then AA can be a powerful tool at our disposal, although in practice this kind of discrimination case is hard to prove. So I think for this reason alone, it's not time to sunset AA. Also I think we should ask another question: why are we overrepresented (for the lack of better word) at the elite schools but underrepresented at the top of the career ladder? I don't know the answer. If you allow me to speculate, I think this two are strongly correlated.
