@Lianne thank you! That is what my point is. I took it back. I do made my point: you have to make decision which side you are going to vote before you add in color. Now I shut up.
@Jerry Lo, @Lianne, Thanks for sharing the video! It does make us think. Wonder who is that gentleman in the video? Hope I'm not asking a dumb question.
@Grace 你和群主基本属于同一阵营,but how he expresses his idea rarely offend anyone and can be very persuasive. If you really care about your cause,I think you can be most efficient by saying less.
Want to share some statistics here: FL has 71,945 Chinese Americans including Taiwan Chinese according to 2010 Census. If we vote 51% to D candidate and 49% to R candidate like we did 2014 election year in FL. Our votes are only mattered at 2%. Our votes are offset with each other. If 50% of our people vote, only 719 people's votes are mattered. Thus, no politician will care about our interests or concerns. Pls think twice when we are hanging up on our ideologies. Let's focus on how to empower and encourage our people to participate In the political process and civic engagements.
That's good idea. We also need to work together for our greater good rather let the difference divides us. We don't have the number like other minority groups.
